Thanks!

Here's a pic of 'the rest of the dog' Wink -- my Beagle Jack (Beagle/JRT mix) Scamp. Don't let the cuteness fool you; his name suits him perfectly:

And my other "child" Daisy the Bassador (Basset Hound/Lab mix):

I'll have to take a couple of Dog portraits and post them. We have a youngin' 16 month old and an old 15 yr old dog.

Old Dog is "Dirty"...and the youngin' is, as named by my son, "Buddy-Dog". Smile

Your Beagle mix has an intelligent look about him...and I know THAT means trouble where dogs are concerned. Wink

Daisy looks like she's probably super sweet ! Smile

Please do take some pics and post them! How is the 15yo dealing with having the pup around?

Scamp definitely is Mr. Smarty Pants, and although Daisy *is* the sweetest dog I've ever had, she's no slouch in the brains department; she's just more devious and subtle about it. Scamp will often make Daisy give up a toy or a spot on the couch for no reason other than she has it and he wants it. Well, Daisy's smart enough to casually start playing with another toy, which Scamp then immediately wants; Daisy gives Scamp toy #2 and then goes back to the toy she had originally Laughing

It's a common misconception that Basset Hounds are stupid and slow, when in reality they are super-smart (but stubborn as mules!) and can really haul @$$ if they want to!

These are way out of date, so I have a mission to shoot my dogs now. Smile

This is Dirty much younger and Buddy before he "blew up"...he's much bigger now. These are shots I already had sitting on flickr... so new ones soon.

Dirty does OK with Buddy, but Buddy does get on his nerves sometimes. Dirty wants to continue to be the Alpha but I think he knows he can't handle boisterous Buddy. They really do get along well, but we get the occasional growl at the food bowls once in a while.

Dirty doesn't 'play' much anymore and gets aggravated when Buddy mashes the dog toys in his face... "asking" to go play.
